Why draw?

Draw to help your mind hold on to things
To cement the experience
To connect the vision to the visceral
To align the appendage to the abstraction
Impressing the image into my hand
Impression suggests a plasticity of the person; that I can revisit the encounter
Making it deeper each time, like running over a trail time and again, which dictates how the forest will take shape in the future.

How plastic am I?  To what extent does the drawing shape me?
Are actions so innocent? Or innocuous?  Is drawing without consequence?  Is it benign?
Or am I shaped as much as I shape the space of the drawing?

Speierman, blown away by your skill and passion. Sorta under estimated your artistic side. The "art of the day" should feature more of your work.
